The purpose for Designers for Learning is two-fold:

To provide non-profit and social enterprises with pro bono (or discounted low bono) instructional products and services.
To provide instructional design students and professionals the opportunity to develop new skills and gain experience in instructional design.

I visited the website and liked the idea very much. However I did notice there is no information about who is behind this venture and how can you get involved. It would appreciate if someone can comment on that
