Assignment 3 RLO - Disaster Recovery
Attached are the three files that make up the Assignment for the Reusable Learning Object. The topic is Disaster Recovery and the RLO covers the process of creating a disaster recovery plan from a high level. I hope you all learn something new throughout this document.
Thanks everyone.
The Landing files tool can be used to share files with others, comment on them and build dialogue around them.
Some files are treated specially: on the whole, pictures will be displayed as pictures (jpg, gif and png formats), audio will be played as audio (mp3 and a few other formats) and video will be shown as video (various formats). It is thus a way to build picture galleries, podcasts and vodcasts.
You can upload multiple files and even upload zip files, that will be extracted on this site into their individual components.

This looks interesting, great idea for your RLO!
Hi Chris Winter
I gained a great deal of knowledge from your RLO. Particularly intriguing was the significance you attributed to establishing an organizational policy.
Thank you, and best wishes with your final take-home test.
Hi Cyril Ugbem, William M.
It was really interesting study that moved well beyond what I thought I was going to do. When I started the research for this topic I was focused in the direction of midigation techniques and activation planning and the research showed it was much more than that.
Thanks again,
Chris
Hi Chris,
A very thorough treatment of the very exciting topic of DRPs In all seriousness it is great content and I like the graphics used and the link to the sample DRP plan. It is an important topic and I think your RLO would prepare someone very well to pull together a DRP assessment and plan.
Thanks,
Barry
Thank you for sharing your RLO. This is very interesting and informative RLO . I learned how we can act on diseaster recovery in organization. I like how you talked about security wise what need to be done and also mentioned about test run. Alotgather it is very good one. Best of luck!
Hi Chris,
I have worked on DRPs in the past, so I enjoyed your RLO. Recently the company I work for experienced a major Cyber Attack event (ransomware) so I can appreciate the need for a good DRP. I noticed that you called that out in your RLO.
These ransomware attacks are in the news at an ever-increasing rate lately, and over a month into this event, we are still not completely up and running. Most recently comes to mind is the University of Winnipeg- nobody is safe.
Thanks again for sharing this!
Daren.
