"Beauty and the Phi Ratio" online, "Activity Attractor" keyword navigation template

Learner and facilitator (partial) orientation material

The navigation concept is that there is no superior sequence through the material, so the learner simply enters the course by choosing an "attractor" word that piques son interest. "Colouring," "Crop Circles" and "Logic" are examples.

Each attractor leads into the activity by activating the learner's past experience and relation with past learning. I have tried to be experiential, sensory and so on in the choice of attractors, for good brain activation. Hopefully everyone will hear at least one word that draws them in.

I prepared this material directly due to a conversation with a Moodler in NZ who works with reschooling adults and sent it to them, it seems a very good omen.

Once in the environment, the learner finds more information how to proceed. (I am describing game elements in the environment, to my surprise. ) Here the learner gets the descriptors of what's happening in the associated activity, in Moodle in the form of video links or PDF files, and also HTML text and images within the LMS course home page. Then the learner should compare the description of the activity from my video, with what they believe from looking at the PDF activity template that describes the activity for demonstration. So, taking the videos as not absolutely 100% factually accurate but proceeding accordingly gives it a reality-show feel (?). Demonstration video links would be uploaded to a forum in Moodle for the given badge.

Looking for student help and involvement with this.

Thanks everyone

The learner who jumps into an activity may need to find background information on own/with friends from other sections of the course. This is exciting because it becomes like a hide-and-seek kind of game environment. Any friendships and working together are allowed; evaluation can be made on either individuals or pairs or groups.
