text vs voice blogging

I especially appreciate your comment on voice blogging and podcasts being different. On the nature of revisions for voice blogging you could make additional records and merge, however I wonder if that adds value to the act of voice blogging.

An additional point to ponder is the differences when moving to video. If we compare text, voice and video blogs do each have specific value or are voice and video providing very similar benefits? I definitely agree that video blogging and videocasts remain different just as voice blogging and podcasts are different.

    Hi Glenn and Eric,

You raise an important comparison -- between voice blogging and video (blogging).  I think that I always like to see the person talking, and yet I also like to shut my eyes and listen deeply or in a reflective manner to voice.

    Cheers,

    Jo Ann

I am interested in exploring edublogging for literacy learners, to empower them to tell stories, and foster confidence in their voices.
