  • The Canada Interactive Fund has awarded the university $330,000 to create a unique interactive resource highlighting the history of Canadian film-making since the 1960s.
  • AU will co-host the Creating Rural Connections 2011 conference to be held April 12-14 at the Mayfield Inn and Suites in Edmonton.
  • People gathered to celebrate the completion of many of the Community Adjustment Fund (CAF) and Knowledge Infrastructure Program (KIP) funded projects that are transforming the university.
  • A new and improved Alberta Women’s Memory Project website, a teaching and public education resource hosted by Athabasca University, was launched.
  • AU Press releases Praha, poet E.D. Blodgett’s poetic homage to the legendary city’s vital spirit.
  • Book designer Natalie Olsen was chosen by the American Association of University Presses to be featured in the Book, Jacket and Journal Show 2011, for her cover and interior design for Maurice Yacowar’s Roy & Me.
  • We have a winner in the Recognize This? Contest.
