Owner: Brigette McConkey

Group members: 36

Description:

This group was set up to provide a priorty forum for members of the Athabasca community to talk about and influence the development, services and resourcs provided by IRRODL. IRRODL is funded by Athabasca (and the Social Sciences Humanities Research Council) and thus we feel a need to insure that the Journal meets Athabasca community needs.  The discussion forum can be used by group members to suggest, debate or develop ideas related to all areas of IRRODL operations. Please also use  bookmark links to point to any journals or feature sets that you think would improve IRRODL. We hope that all members of this group are subscribers to IRRODL (that means you will receive an email with each new issues and an occiasional email special notice). In addition academics and doctoral students are welcomed to signup as reviewers at the www.irrodl.org site.

The aim of The International Review of Research in Open and Distance Learning (IRRODL) is to disseminate scholarly information to scholars and practitioners of open and distance learning and teaching worldwide.

Authors submit their manuscripts online by registering then logging in and following an automated, five-step submission process.

Topics must relate to open or distance learning and may be placed in the Research Articles section or the Notes section. Manuscripts, including all references, tables, and figures, should be approximately 3,500-5,000 words and should not exceed 7,000 words. Submissions that significantly exceed this limit will not be accepted for review. Tables and figures are encouraged, and they should be placed within the text, not at the end.
