After completing the Sparks instructor training of D2L for course content, I started working on my courses content.  Due to the fact that D2L will not be completely setup until mid July I was granted a course called Karyn Mart's Sandbox Course to allow me to play with D2L.

From the information in the CAI I realized my word documents were best converted to HTML single web pages for best viewing.

I was able to add files both HTML and PDF and then organize them in D2L.  The student view of the created course is as follows:

The instructor view maintains the hierarchical view as students see it to give a good sense of how it will look.  I did find the CAI very helpful from the sense of importing multiple documents to topics from the file menu in 1 click and learning D2L's terminology for Module, topic, order.

I even created an assignment through the manage course content.

I then needed to reorder the topic to place it in sequence with the content it applies to.

I am pleased with my abilities and my end product.  I feel that I learned how to use the course content area sufficiently and efficiently due to the video tutorials.  Even though I did not score well on the quiz I believe this is not a true reflection of the learning accomplished in this section.
