I am blessed with two happy and healthy young children (a girl age 5 and a boy age 3) and a fantastic wife of indeterminate age. Before I go any further, I want to thank my family for staying patient, picking up my workload and accepting less play time fas graciously as they have. I am in my last course of the PBDID but I hope to continue my studies with the MDE starting in January. I am hoping the opportunity for a thesis based masters is still in the cards.

Like the rest of you, I don't have a lot of time for extracurricular stuff, but it is very important to me to maintain some sense of work/study/life balance. Besides hanging out with my family, I really enjoy tinkering with cars and going somewhat fast in them (on sactioned tracks only - street racing is for knuckleheads). I gots me a Chrysler 300 with a 6.1 litre hemi for a daily driver that gives me joy every time I drive it. I am not too skilled with tools or engines, but I have fun giving things a good try and like to get a little bit greasy. Other interests include golf and whiskey (I really do love drinking whiskey). The nice thing about both golf and whiskey is they are laid back and social hobbies that usually involve laughing myself.
