Hello.
Today I have received my result's for my sixth assignment. I am happy with my results, but their are still a few issue's with my writing that I will need to improve. I need to avoid slang expressions, plaigirism and be more specific towards scientific evidence, meaning; provide better explanations and examples. I have to make sure to use appropriate academic sources and I still need to improve my MLA format and citations. For the MLA issue, I will look into more defined examples and understand the mistakes that I made.
All in all, I am pleased with my mark.
In module six, I found it an easy section because, I enjoyed the quizzes and the readings such as the plate tectonics and tsunami, which I am very familiar with because I do enjoy reading different topics every time. Chapters such as twenty and twenty-one I found enjoyable, because we reviewed fragments and run-ons, faulty parallel structures, which explains how sentences are balanced and how to use parallel structure to correct the sentence. Chapter thirty-six was also a fun section, it involved correcting essays and paragraphs, it is always nice to train your mind and eyes to see the mistakes that individuals do, when writing an essay or a paragraph.
Chapter fifteen, was the most important section for me, because it explained how to do correct research for assignments and it introduced to me well developed examples of MLA style and citations. This section, I will use for future reference when writing my final exam. The next few goals that I would like to reach is; to pass my final exam, use chapter fifteen and online sources to learn proper MLA format and citation in essays. In addition, I will work on avoiding slang expressions and when providing information, I will be more specific and provide detailed examples. I will also, double check my sources, if they are academically approved. Overall, I will try to structure my paragraphs, so they connect to the thesis statement and controlling ideas.
But I am pleased to say, that I have handed in all my assignments and now I think I am ready to write my final exam. I will make sure to write a few essays, everyday to increase my knowledge in writing and when the exam date will come, I will be confident to write an essay on any topic that I will choose.

Citation skills are similar across the fields, but little variations can make it a challenge to switch from one to the other. Good work on completing your assignments. Good luck in the final exam.

Hi Kateryna,
Good work on completing your assignments. Citation styles are similar across the fields, but slight variations can make it challenging to switch from one style to another. Keep on editing!
