I was thinking that an activity summary that enabled participants to self-identify the activity category and type using a menu like the access drop-down menu, and including some of the items from the list below could be used for participants' self-monitoring and feedback, and be a useful tool for instructors working with their learners within cohorts. This would enable instructors a one-page glance at the activity stats to aid with interventions, feedback, encouraging words, etc. It would also set into motion an opportunity for learners to become more self-regulating in how they use the AU landing features.
I recently took a look at my account activity summary. These artefacts present only part of the picture, however. Here is a list of activities most advanced users engage in within AU Landing, categorized by whether it is knowledge-building activity (primarily concerned with sense-making and idea generation to aid with completion of assignments), network-building activity (primarily concerned with making connections with ideas, persons, and other communities), or identity-building activity (primary concern is profiling, monitoring and coordinating activities, as well as self-development tasks).
