This assignment was a little less difficult than the previous ones. I believe this is because as I continue through the development stages of the SDLC, I am able to expand upon more concrete framework each time. Rather than the initial back-and-forth of textbook to notes I had needed in assignment 1 to build my information, I was able to use the diagrams and descriptions from assignment 2 to apply input, and output structure. I found myself only referring to the text book for visual example and to ensure I was following proper form. It was more difficult for me to accomplish the storyboard portion of this assignment. The reasoning was not based on the degree of understanding required, as I had framework to follow, and a fairly concrete mental concept of what the user interface should look like. Rather, the reason was that I had trouble finding the best tool to create each board. I attempted to use the Visual Paradigm program that I installed for the previous assignment, however the storyboard resource was only available with membership. After exhausting some options, I decided to manually build each board through the word program itself, adding boxes and text boxes, changing background colours, and some tedious lining up. It was clearly not the most efficient way to complete this task, however it did the job. After that meticulous and annoying work, I would recommend to anyone that the use of a design tool for storyboards would be a much better approach to doing this. Overall I feel that I am starting to feel more confident in the work that I am producing for this course, and can say with certainty that I see the value of the design and analysis process, in addition to how each step is dependant on the previous.
