This assignment went fairly well for me. I referred to the text book for numerous examples and found it extremely useful in helping me to structure my tables, as these were fairly straight forward. The notes I took during the course as well, provided sufficient information for me to understand the purpose of this assignment, and stage of system development. I found it simple to understand the access controls for the different possible users of the system, and I spent a little more time deciding on the integrity controls needed. I did use online resources to provide myself with ample examples in integrity controls so I could better apply myself to designing these controls for the system. I understood the communication requirements to develop the data access diagram and used the example from the textbook to provide the structure of the diagram. It was evident after my minimal coding experience, the necessity for the getters and setters added. The part I enjoyed the most of this assignment, other than having the satisfaction of seeing yet another piece of development come together, was learning more about cloud-based data storage. I read many articles, even some not pertaining the the questions I was required to answer. I now feel I better understand how cloud computing works, as well as the reasons why it is implemented, and when it should not be used. Overall, since I have experienced less difficulty as the assignments have continued on, I feel that I am starting to have a solid grasp of the SDLC, the purpose and methods of each step of the cycle, the need and importance of diagrams and models, and that with some review, the text book and Internet resources provided me with enough information to allow me to venture further into understanding project management.
