I have been thinking about this issue.  With so many high schools, colleges, and universities adopting distance learning you would think that these institutions would be examples of progress in moving out of a 19th century approach to teaching.  I'm afraid that is not so.

It seems like a contradiction to have educational organizations and their teachers integrating technologies into the classroom and for teachers to hold fast to out-dated methods of teaching.
