Last updated June 16, 2013 - 2:27am by Daniel Wilton

CIDER Press is home to the International Review of Research in Open and Distance Learning (IRRODL), an open access, peer reviewed e-Journal dedicated to disseminating research, theory and current practices in open and distance education worldwide. IRRODL currently has over 7,700 subscribers. As the publisher of a peer reviewed, open access Journal, CIDER strongly supports this accessible form of research publication. To find other educational, open access journals you may wish to consult a listing maintained by AERA.

CIDER Press has also published an online book The Theory and Practice of Online Learning, available for free download and use as a Creative Commons licensed, open access resource. We are pleased that over 48,000 downloads of the complete book (and additional thousands of copies of individual chapters) have been made since its release in Feb. 2004. We would appreciate hearing of readers' use of this resource. A professionally bound paper copy of the text is also available for purchase for CAN$50. The book is reviewed (positively :-)) by Education Reviews.
