Hi Glenn and Sylvia,
This interview was very well done and especially helpful historically, presently, and perhaps for the future enthusiasm with the multiple users. I agree that there are many other pulls away. I know that I'm one of the "quite rushed" at times, but I really like the opportunities that arise. I think that the podcast contribution is exciting on scope. Thanks Jo Ann
Hi Jo Ann,
Thank you for your feedback. I hope to make it a habit that whenever I have the privelege of attending a conference, I sit down and arrange an impromptu interview to take away and share with others.
Glenn
This was fun Glenn and a treat to finally meet face-to-face. Thanks for suggesting we do this joint presentation. I hope your trip home was not too bouncy.
It is interesting to read your comments and to realize the very different language you use to describe the same situation that I observed. I remember the assessment question and I know that it seemed we were both answering the question at the same time - I know what I heard and responded but I did not appreciate your response until I read it above. A debrief is very important and reading your comments have helped me rehear what took place.
Thanks
Would you guys you use this type of tool (Landing) to debrief in the future? I am curious if this my spawn small invite only collaboration groups.
Eric could you elaborate a little more on this? How do you mean "use it to debrief" - in what sense and are you thinking of this being used as a kind of break out room?
There's a lot about liminality in anthropology and performance studies, especially as Victor Turner developed the term to theorize ritual. See Turner's Forest of Symbols (Cornell UP, 1967); for a more introductory discussion in contemporary performance studies, see Richard Schechner's Performance Studies: An Introduction (Routledge, 2002).
Thank you Mark, I am interested in exploring the topic of liminality from an educational perspective, as I would like to develop blogging activities with learners.
Nice pics Glenn, but wondering why you aren't using the photo album. Does uploading as a file imporve things? As a photo, in an album, it would be more easily searched by otehrs.
Terry
Thank you for sharing to see how they grow on a tree - and yes, the photo album is easier to find a photo I think so too!
