MCAST was coined by Dr. Terry Anderson in 2011 as the group title and term to describe digital phenomenon in this group.

As the name suggests, the Files tool is designed for sharing files. The tool is smart enough to know about various different kinds of file. If you upload images it will display them on the page (and will even provide a simple gallery view for a quick and easy photo album). If you upload videos, it will play them in the browser. If you upload audio files (MP3) it will play them as podcasts. It is possible to upload multiple files at once or even upload a zip file and have all the files extracted for you onto the site. You can organize files into folders, if you wish.
There are buttons on this page for uploading files, and for drawing images. The drawing tool is very primitive but can be handy for creating quick avatars, logos and designs.
