I took my tutorial over three weekends, and finally completed the final module (8?) on Sunday -- I got my certificate!

I saw that there was a tutorial in EDDE 805 when I was doing research on the TCPS website, but I did not know it was a doctorate requirement. I appreciate the heads-up, as I will immediately start on it!

I am Elaine, the Lab Manager at AU. Nice to see your post, I thought I would tell you that half the class looks like they are from Edmonton or farther south so your chances of getting a ride should be good even if you don't hear from anyone at this time. I am looking forward to meeting you when you come up to Athabasca.

Interesting read Peggy Lynn. I wonder if it is more common in the U.S. As 'Dr' Conrad and I mentioned last night, we have never experienced this, but I do very little work in The States.

The arguments against open source applications as equal or more costly than commercialware are pitiful fake news. Any computing application/hardware can be misappropriated to financial ruin.
